However, many project buyers ask an important question: Are smart locks suitable for galvanized steel doors?
The answer is yes. A smart lock can work reliably on a galvanized steel door when the door thickness, lock body, mounting holes, internal reinforcement, opening direction, and access-control functions are properly matched. The lock and door should ideally be selected as one complete system rather than purchased separately without confirming compatibility.
